Clerk authorisation

Version 0.1-draftBinding in Englishfb7b828ffb732ec8

Demo document. No lawyer has read this.

1. What this is

Your phone number is being registered as a clerk at one named washing station.
This is what the registration means and what it makes you responsible for.

2. What it lets you do

From your handset you can log a cherry delivery. Logging one is not
paperwork. It pays a farmer, it services the station's equipment payment, and
it writes to the cooperative's ledger, all at once and immediately.

Every entry you make moves real money.

3. Log what actually arrived

Weigh in front of the farmer. Log the weight you both saw, against the right
member number, on the day it happened.

Do not log a delivery that did not happen, for anybody, for any reason. Do not
log one farmer's cherry under another farmer's number.

4. Your number is your signature

The gateway knows you by your phone number and by nothing else. Anyone holding
your handset can do everything you can do.

Do not lend it. Do not give your handset to another clerk to "just log a
couple". If you lose it, tell the station manager the same day, and the number
is suspended within the hour.

5. Mistakes

Tell the station manager the same day. A wrong entry is corrected by a
reversing entry, never by editing or deleting the original, because a record
that can be quietly changed is not a record.

An honest mistake reported the same day is a routine correction. The same
mistake found three weeks later by someone else is a much worse conversation.

6. One station

Your registration is for one station. It does not work anywhere else.

7. Suspension

The station manager or the cooperative may suspend your number immediately, at
any hour, without notice, if there is reason to. Suspension stops the handset
working; it is not by itself an accusation.

8. Language

This was read to you in the language named on the signature page.

This one is signed in person, by a counterparty who has no account here — a farmer at a weighing station, a clerk being registered, a vendor on an email thread. An operator reads it to them and records it under their own name.

Clerk authorisation is the document a counterparty is bound by. Producing these needs a human translator working from the reviewed text, not a model.
