Pulper and washing line
Kelagur sells most of its crop as raw cherry. A pulper lets it deliver graded parchment instead — several times the price for the same coffee, every year.
Penagos eco-pulper
Separates cherry from parchment cleanly and uses about 80% less water than the station's current hand-cranked unit.
40 raised drying beds
The cheapest cup-score improvement available. Airflow underneath the parchment means even drying and far fewer defects.
Covered solar drying tunnel
The harvest runs straight through a wet season. A covered tunnel means rain no longer decides the grade.
Machines are bought by the cooperative fund and lent to stations at zero interest. Members do not hold a claim on any individual machine, the fund owns the loan book.
